Another LAN completed...
Thanks for making it a spectacular LAN guys. Sounds like you had an amazing time (As did I, aside from being hideously ill all weekend). Keep an eye on the forum and website over the next couple of days as we'll be releasing the writeup shortly :)

Last minute things to make sure you do/bring:
Virus check your PC!
Set your IP to 'automatic' and workgroup to FragM
Pack PC + power leads + 4 gang extension
Bring food, drink and money for cheap pizzas!
Practice Tetris 4 so uv can kick your sorry ass ;)

Just one week to go until fragM #3. We've painstaking checked all the equipment (let me tell you, checking over 50 network cables by hand is FUN) and we've said our goodbyes to the prizes (damn having to give them away). Not long to go, y'all ;)

Just realised that this info isn't really that centralised/easy for you lot to find, so here it is. Sorry for not posting this sooner :)
Savage Tourney
Our usual massive Savage game. Held on the Saturday night, the winning team (that's half of everyone at the lan btw) gets half price pizzas - £3 for a 14" Dominos pizza can't be sniffed at...
Games Meister
Not at all ripped off from the show of a similar name, this tourney involves rocking it up in old school console games on our projector. The winner takes home the shiny shiny RAM.

TrackMania Nations
Trackmania server running throughout the event. Log in anytime you like to try and beat the best times. The winner at the end of the weekend will take home something purdy.
Poker
Post midnight on Saturday, those of you still awake can take part in the all-night poker session. Prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Be warned, this one went on till past 6am last time :)
Soldat
Old school 2d-shooter. We host a massive FFA game filled with complete mayhem. Prize goes to the winner (shocking, eh?).

Another Sunday FFA-er. Several games with the top in each bracket advancing to the final.
Pro Evo 6
For the coach footballers amongst you. Friday post-midnight will involve a massive xbox 360 tournament. Another one where pre-registration is important as there's very limited places. See here
Pub Quiz
After the GamesMeister tourney on Friday, wind down with a pizza in one hand and a beer in the other and take part in our gaming/films/etc pub quiz. Winning team takes home a crate of the good stuff ;)
We'll also be running loads of crazy etc games throughout the event, including Battlefield 2, Killing Floor, Halo, random SNES games and god-knows what else. There's never a quiet moment, even when you sleep.

Here's a list for some of the prizes though:

GamesMeister: This time it'll be a pure bomberman tourney. Return of crazy games is expected for the next lan. Prize is the 1GB of Crucial RAM. Keep on top of this one, guys ;)
Pub Quiz: Crate of beer (soft drinks if you're under aged) for the winning team. Should be a laugh, even more so once you drink all your precious alcohol :p

New official CSS Server now online!
A little present for all you CSS guys - our new sponsor Adrenelan.net has kindly provided us with a 16-slot public server for you to go crazy on. Dmack and h00x are admins at the moment, though if the server gets busy we may look to expand that.
You can check the status of the server via the Squery site. We're looking to build this kind of functionality into the FragM website for both the CSS and other servers in the near future. Keep an eye out ;)
